Almy Beach Hotel

We went as a family at the end of August 2025 and really enjoyed the sea view from our balcony. The hotel is new and sits by a small marina, with a central spot that makes it easy to get to beautiful beaches in every direction. You definitely need a car. The spacious rooms are nicely furnished and have all the comforts. Breakfast was incredible, especially the best yogurt I've ever had, plus loads of fruit and plenty of sweet and savory choices. One small issue was the shower: without a curtain or enclosure, water inevitably gets onto the bathroom floor. I imagine a few things may still be unfinished because the property is brand new.

There are a few little, quiet beaches and restaurants nearby. The village itself is tiny, with around 20 houses and a small harbor with a little taverna. The hotel is in a great spot and suits a holiday away from the mainstream. Our room was large but simply equipped. The bathroom was very small, and without a shower curtain the floor was always soaked. Breakfast could use more variety; it was the same every day for all 10 days.

The staff were really kind, and breakfast was excellent. It’s a lovely, quiet place with just a few houses, so the hotel is a good choice if you want some peace. I wasn’t comfortable swimming there because of the waves and rocks, but there’s a sandy and pebbly beach 650 meters away. You can also easily drive to other small beaches.

A lovely place to unwind, with a sandy beach, a few stones when you get into the water, and free sunbeds and umbrellas. It’s a real hidden gem, never crowded, and has a great restaurant with reasonable prices. 👌👌👌
