Amour Relax Hotel

The receptionist deserves a special thank you. She was attentive and suggested beautiful, interesting places around Crete, which helped us plan each day. Over our 10 days we saw almost the whole island, including popular spots and hidden gems. We chose the quieter of Almirida's two beaches. It had a pebble bottom, clear water and plenty of space to find a private, relaxing spot, just a couple of minutes' walk from the hotel. The hotel itself was peaceful and away from the busy tourist centres, yet Chania was only about a 30-minute drive for walks and excursions. It was a great base for exploring Crete as well as relaxing. We had one of our best holidays and will come back.

The huge professional tennis court really stood out. I loved playing with the mountains and an open view of the city around me. My room was clean and spacious, with the sea right in view. The beach and its promenade with places to eat are a seven-minute walk, though there's also a pool and sun loungers on site. I was only there for a couple of days, but left with great impressions and was happy with the holiday.

We liked the quiet mornings and nights here. The hotel sits on a mountain, a little outside Almirida's centre, which suited me because I don't enjoy noisy places. We played tennis and volleyball, and the staff were always friendly and attentive, responding to our requests straight away. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view from the terrace. I'd recommend Amur Relax for its quality, professional service.

The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the reception, bungalows and pool were all kept in very good shape. We also found the location and facilities excellent. Most of all, the staff were so friendly and helpful, doing everything they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I had a wonderful visit and would gladly recommend the hotel to anyone in the area. I hope to return on my next trip.
