Frank Apartments

We spent a week here at the end of May. The hotel has 18 rooms across 3 buildings, right on a wide beach with fine sand. Hotel guests can use the free umbrellas and loungers, and there’s a large pool with a beach bar. Beach towels are available for a fee that covers the whole stay. Getting around is convenient: direct bus 6 runs between the airport and the hotel, and the stop is 30m away. It takes about 40 minutes to reach the airport. The surrounding area has all the basics and more, including a mini market, beauty studio, hairdresser with a manicurist, car rental, tourist shops, pastry shop, cafes and restaurants. Our room felt narrow and, in my opinion, needs renovation, though we didn’t lack anything else. The street beside the hotel is fairly busy, so it was noisy for us and sleeping with the window open was unthinkable. Better windows and doors that keep out noise are needed. The bath shower is tiny at 70/70cm. There seems to be enough bathroom space for an Italian shower, which would make bathing more comfortable. The TV faced the door, so you could only watch it while standing at the dining table, not while lying in bed.

The rooms are a little outdated, but the pool, the food quality and the kindness of the whole staff made us feel right at home. Lovely people, and the best beach bar. Most likely the best place on this beach. Highly recommended!!

Such a convenient spot, with shops, the beach and pharmacies just a stone throw away. It’s family friendly and wasn’t too crowded in June. The staff are attentive and friendly, and the rooms are very nice, cleaned every day if needed. Guests get free sun beds too. 10/10 recomed

I spent 4 nights here, and the manager Sophia was delightful, gracious and informative. She made sure everything went well during my stay this past weekend. My room was serviced daily without taking very long. The grill is a must, even if you’re not staying at the property. The food was outstanding and much better than I expected. I had a regular cheeseburger one day, with very good quality meat and fresh buns, and the spicy chicken sandwich another night was delicious, juicy and full of flavor. It hit the spot when it was hard to find spicy food on the island. I also went to the beach right in front of the apartments and got prompt, warm service from the very attentive wait staff. Would recommend 10/10!
