Ardani Bay Studios

I was completely disappointed. The bathroom was old and neglected, and the door and window frames squeaked whenever it was windy. The air conditioner was undersized and didn't work properly, leaving the room quite warm, and there were no screens on the windows to keep insects out. We paid less during the same period for a single dwelling with a garden in the island's county town, Pigadia. Service was poor, and the people were rude in their manner.

The sea view from the beautiful place was stunning, and evenings spent chatting with Antony and Tina made the stay feel personal and special. They were so warm and helpful, listened to what we needed, and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. They also shared good ideas for things to do nearby and let us use their car at a very reasonable price, which made getting around much easier. We had an incredible time at Ardani and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend it for a friendly, welcoming stay in a beautiful setting.

I picked Ardani Bay Studios again when I returned to Karpathos after four years. The island is fantastic, and Ardani Bay Studios is a great place to stay. Antonis, the owner, is an excellent host and is always available to make things comfortable and relaxing. He can arrange an airport pickup and car rental if you want. We stayed in an upper-floor apartment for the lovely view over Amoopi. It's very quiet, yet the beaches, mini market, and good tavernas are easy to reach. We tried three, Dimitri’s, Esperida and Four Seasons. Micri Amoopi beach is only 100 metres away, one of Karpathos's best little sandy beaches. I especially enjoyed it early in the morning or after 6 pm.

Antony and his family were kind and welcoming, always ready to answer questions or help. The room was regularly cleaned and stayed tidy, and the breakfast, which costs extra, was decent with plenty to eat. The apartments and holiday itself both pleased me: the location is beautiful, the sea is nearby, and the views are stunning. Getting around the island can be difficult, so I'd recommend renting a car. They offer good, well-maintained cars on favorable terms, with NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED. That's a big advantage over other companies. A huge thank you to Antony and his family. I loved my stay, was satisfied, and recommend the place.
