Agnadi Sea View Apartments

We got lost and ended up in the garden while trying to ask how much a room cost. A woman who owned the place came out onto the balcony shouting at us as if we were thieves. She was loud, rude, abusive, and looked down on us. It felt like friendliness only starts when there’s money involved. No stars if that were possible. Bad luck for them, we stayed somewhere else. The house is non-traditional Greek.

The worst holiday experience I’ve ever had!

My family and I had a very disappointing stay, and I want other guests to know what happened. The building looked run-down and poorly maintained when we arrived, though the caretaker was friendly and welcoming at first and showed us to our rooms. Things seemed fine initially, but then we found that the air conditioning didn’t work. With the weather as it was, that was a serious problem. The caretaker said someone would come at 5:00 PM to fix it, but nobody turned up until about 8:00 PM. The beds were uncomfortable too. After some back and forth with the caretaker and manager, they decided we should leave and cancelled our Booking.com reservation. We had only four hours to find somewhere else to stay. Later, we realized they may have done this on purpose so we couldn’t leave a review on Booking.com.

THE WORST HOLIDAY STAY EVER!!! We booked through Booking.com, but our reservation was cancelled and we were told to leave after they realized we planned to write an honest negative review. Maybe that’s why their Booking.com page seems to have only positive reviews. They told us we had to leave while we were out on a boat trip, so we had to scramble for somewhere else at short notice. It was extremely inconvenient and felt rude, unfair, and inconsiderate. We had rented Apartments 1 and 2. The air conditioning in Apartment 1 worked, but the airflow was very weak and it didn’t cool the room properly. My husband and I ended up having to stay with our siblings in Apartment 2, which made it crowded and uncomfortable.
