Ambelas Mare felt like a home away from home, and we’re already looking forward to returning next fall. My wife and I spent two weeks there in late October 2025, and were sorry when it was time to leave. Maria Tripolitsoti welcomed us warmly and helped us settle into the apartment we’d booked. She owns and manages the well-designed apartments, set among attractive landscaping with a 22-metre pool and a private beach across the road. Elsa cleaned our apartment daily, keeping it clean and well equipped just as it was when we arrived. Two very nice seafood tavernas, Vasiliki and Christiana, are an easy walk away, as is the fishing harbor in the center of Ambelas village. Naousa, Lefkes, Marmara and Piso Livadi are also convenient to reach by car, with more places to eat.

The pool has an unmatched view of Naxos, and the property is laid out really well. We also loved the sandy beach nearby, which is protected from the wind, the lovely breakfast each morning, and the attentive staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s a quieter spot away from the crowds, so you’ll need a car to explore Paros, though everything is under 30 minutes away. I’d recommend it to anyone staying on the island.

The staff really made this place special. The women were so kind, always smiling and attentive, and breakfast was delicious, made with quality products. The pool area is beautiful too, and we loved spotting the gentle gray and white cat on the terrace in the evenings. The hotel is small and charming, with typical Greek architecture. Our spacious room felt more like a little holiday home, was very clean and well equipped, and had a cozy terrace with a magnificent sea view. I did find the mattress a bit too firm, though that’s just my preference. It was such a peaceful place to relax, and we’d love to come back. Highly recommend it.

Quiet, relaxing and luxurious, with a gorgeous pool and stunning private beach. The property itself is beautiful, the hospitality was wonderful, and the views were spectacular.
