Asana Hotel

We come back to this hotel in Crete every summer, and it feels like home each time. The staff are always ready to help, attentive, and smiling, and the rooms are comfortable. The whole place is spotless, including the lovely pool area. The all-inclusive food and drinks are outstanding, plentiful, varied, and delicious, with Greek specialties as well as international dishes and something new to try. This has become our second home in Crete, with peaceful relaxation, warm people, great food and drinks, and memories we won't forget. I wholeheartedly recommend it for an all-inclusive holiday in the Greek islands.

The hotel is right in the heart of Analipsi, and the sea is just 500-700 meters away. It's a comfortable place, with excellent organization, service, location, dining, entertainment, and accommodation. We once booked 14 nights and ended up staying through the end of summer. We came back this year, and it was worth it again. The location gives you both peace and quiet and a view of beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the Aegean coastline, while the lively little Greek island town of Analipsi is right outside. The dedicated team does everything possible to make your stay relaxing, and guest comfort feels fully taken care of. I believe things will always be kept to a high standard because the hotel manager, Elena, personally oversees and organizes every detail. Elena, if you're reading this, you're truly the queen of comfort and coziness! This is a place full of joy, flavor, warmth, and comfort, and you just don't want to leave.

The beach, supermarkets, and other restaurants are all within a five-minute walk, and parking around the hotel is easy. The place is clean and quiet, the staff are very welcoming, and the bedrooms and pool area are pleasant. There's a wide selection at the restaurant, plus nice cocktails and a variety of Greek cheeses.

The hotel's small grounds get noisy, so there's not much chance to rest. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, and I didn't entirely enjoy my stay, even though the service was excellent. The service staff were wonderful: friendly, positive, and always willing to help. They made the trip enjoyable, and the hotel is lucky to have them. The bartenders were especially kind, and Alex deserves a thousand out of ten for his big, beautiful heart. There are lots of cats around the hotel, which gives it a cozy, friendly feel. They aren't intrusive, and I liked being able to pet them or offer a leftover bite. Unfortunately, a short-haired woman, whose name I believe is Anina, often chased them away. She was strict, rude when answering questions, harsh with the cats near the dining area, and spoke to the staff in an unpleasant, disrespectful tone. The sunbeds were far too few. By the time we got up just after 7 AM, they were all taken, so getting one meant reserving a spot very early. The drink selection was limited too: there was only one brand of beer, which wasn't great, and the cocktails were basic and unimpressive. Food was another big letdown for a hotel with this star rating. The pasta was always overcooked, the dishes lacked flavor, and there wasn't enough variety for a place serving more than 200 guests. In the morning, guests weren't allowed to eat the ice cream on the buffet, which was confusing. We ended up sticking to foods that are hard to get wrong, like salads, pastries, and pizza.
