Villa Filokalia With Exceptional View

The view from Villa Filokalia is beautiful, and the location was the best part of our stay. Still, at this price we expected more comfort and a more accurate description. The beds were extremely hard for everyone in our group, and that really affected our sleep. We also found only two actual bedrooms. The third advertised bedroom is an open mezzanine over the living room, with a low ceiling that an adult can't stand under and no air conditioning. There’s one somewhat dated bathroom, the shower is low for taller people, and its head wouldn’t stay in the holder. Some basic supplies were missing when we arrived: salt, pepper, oil, enough toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and shower gel. Bringing those along would be wise. The kitchen worked, though it had no light over the counter or dishwasher. The washing machine was in a separate shed, despite some websites saying it was in the kitchen. There was a wasp nest near the pool during our stay. The landlord was helpful and eventually brought in a professional who dealt with it effectively. Even with that resolved and the lovely view, the beds, misleading bedroom count, and missing basics left us feeling the price wasn’t worth it.
