The guesthouse staff were Greek but spoke Russian without any trouble, and they were pleasant people. At check-in, air conditioning was offered for €6 a day and a safe for €2 a day. We had a basic ground-floor room. There are 14 rooms in all, and nearly all the guests were Russian, many with children; only a couple of rooms had Greek guests. Our room had a double bed, a mirror and table, a stool, a bedside table, a fridge and a small built-in closet. There was no TV, but Wi-Fi worked perfectly both in the room and at reception. The room was spacious, but it could have used a table, another chair or stool, and a larger trash bin. There was only a tiny one in the toilet, with nowhere to throw empty water bottles. Cleaning was daily, and towels and linens were changed every three days. The bathroom and toilet were combined. The condition was only average, though there was no mold smell even without an exhaust fan. There were no basic towel hooks, so towels kept ending up on the toilet or sink. The shower had no bracket for the head, which made washing awkward. You had to hold the shower head or a washcloth. Breakfast didn't match the photos and was the same throughout our 10 days: one kind of cheese and ham, white toast, cornflakes and chocolate balls, cottage cheese, cucumber, tomato, boiled eggs, muffins, honey, individual portions of jam and butter, milk, tea, juice diluted from concentrate in just one flavor, lemon, and drip coffee. It's a 15-minute walk to a decent beach and 50 minutes on foot to Hersonissos. My impression is that this guesthouse is suitable for one or two nights at most.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! The rooms were extremely dirty, and the bed was horribly uncomfortable, with the springs sticking out. The property owners were extremely rude and not helpful at all. Our stay was from August 15 to 20, 2018. We paid the full room amount on the 17th, then left for a two-day trip. When we returned on August 19, we found the rooms open even though we had locked them, and there were used dishes inside that weren't ours. There were also towels on the beds for three people, although there were only two of us. We began to wonder whether the rooms had been rented to someone else while we were away. We have photographic evidence.

The hotel looks like it might date back to Gierek's time. The rooms were very mediocre, and the pool wasn't much better. The shower drainpipe emptied onto the floor and flooded the whole bathroom. The sea was about 150 meters away, while a nice beach was around 400-500 meters away. The owners speak Russian, so most guests are from that country. Breakfast was...
