Mitsis Royal Mare Thalasso and Spa Resort

The private beach had lovely clear water, though it's a bit rocky, so bring aqua shoes. There was also a bar right by the beach for drinks. During the day we relaxed at the two large pools, and in the evening there was entertainment by the pool. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly worked hard to make sure everyone had a great stay. There was plenty to choose from at the main restaurant, and everything we ate was fresh and delicious. We also liked the à la carte restaurants, especially the Asian and Italian ones. The cocktail list was great, and we particularly enjoyed it at the rooftop bar. We had a wonderful all-inclusive stay and would definitely recommend it.

The team at Mitsis Royal Mare made us feel welcome right away. Check-in was easy, and they surprised us with birthday cake and wine. Our room stayed clean and comfortable throughout. We especially enjoyed getting to know Anna at Alegria. She was always smiling and taught us a few Greek words. Costa at the beach was just as helpful and cheerful, and Maria at the Delfina pool bar made every stop a pleasure. The beach bar staff were welcoming too. The main restaurant took great care of us. Some dishes at Royal Palm were hit or miss, but the à la carte meals were enjoyable overall. We had a wonderful stay and will be back.

The restaurant staff made the holiday for us. Because of my autoimmune disease, I met with guest relations the morning after our late arrival, and at every meal the staff took such kind care of me. Afrodite was especially caring and helped me relax without worrying about mealtimes. Lenin served us so well, and Muhammad was fantastic too. The food was delicious, and I came home without any illness issues. We had a great time at Mitsis Royal Mare. After arriving late, we dropped our cases in the room and went for a much-needed nightcap. The only thing we struggled with was the bed size. It was comfortable, but a bit small for us since we're used to a super king. Five stars for Afrodite, Lenin, Mohamed, and the lovely lady from the Cosmos restaurant who also served us at the top bar after her shift. You all made our stay perfect. Thank you! The staff at mitsis royal mare were excellent. Their care and attention were second to none, and the site was kept very clean. The exception was the cats, which walked across tables that had been set with cutlery shortly before people sat down to eat. Keeping children entertained during our last week in October was difficult. The pools were absolutely freezing, and even the sea felt warmer. I understand heating every pool at a large resort may not be realistic, but the kids club pool is tiny and seems like it could be heated without much cost. A few small slides would help too. The mini golf is worn out, broken, and in need of investment. The indoor pool also looked tired and had no entertainment for children. There clearly used to be a bar there. What happened to it?
