Makani Suites

The apartment itself was beautiful, nicely kept, and the air conditioning worked well. The hosts were easy to contact, amazing and helpful, and the surroundings were well maintained. Still, it is far from the island's attractive places, and a taxi to Mykonos town costs about 60 EUR. We booked a deluxe suite with a terrace and sun beds shown in the photos, but there were no sun beds. The terrace wasn't private either, it was a shared area where cars could drive in, which disappointed me most. The suite had a coffee machine but only 4 coffees for 5 days for 2 people. For more coffee, and for toiletries, we had to go to the supermarket. They ask you to write your card details, including CVV, on paper in case of damage. That doesn't feel safe unless you use a single-use card, though you can leave a cash deposit instead. I'm 167 cm tall, and the only mirror let me see just the top of my head, so doing my hair wasn't easy. The owner recommended Viajar car rentals, but don't use them. The cars are damaged and the prices changed on the last day. I did report the complaint to the rental company, but not to the owner, because I didn't think they were responsible for problems with that company. By sun beds, I meant the ones shown in the Booking photos for the room we chose. I'm sharing that info for other customers. Even with these issues, the place itself is very nice.

A lovely spot to relax away from the crowds, with a beautiful pool and the best view in mykonos. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the location quiet but close to everywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful, taking care of whatever we needed. One of the best places I've stayed!

The view and value were great, and the service was excellent. Absolutely amazing place. I'd highly recommend it and definitely plan to come back!
