Villa Galaxy

The bathrooms were moldy, the rooms very dirty, and the furniture old and battered. We also had no keys to lock the doors, so our belongings weren’t secure. When we raised the issues, he asked us not to leave a review, saying he would renovate the place and give us a couple of free nights. We contacted him this spring, but he didn’t respond, so the offer turned out to be a scam. He also blocked us on Booking.com so we couldn’t leave a review. Run away!

The place has great potential because of its location and view, but it needs major renovation and a change of ownership. What we found was nothing like the pictures. We didn’t have enough keys to lock all the rooms, leaving our belongings unsecured, and the rooms were old, neglected, dirty, with mold throughout the bathrooms. I have photos to show this. When I raised it with the person who checked us in, he said he had health problems with his mother and couldn’t help. He then promised me two free nights next summer and said the owner would renovate, apparently so I wouldn’t leave a review. When I later contacted him about it, I found he had blocked my number. It was a big fat lie. Run away from this scam.

The rooms were filthy, the furniture battered and old, and the bathrooms covered in mold. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Run away.

What stayed with me was how genuinely Greek this villa feels. The service and local character made it feel like a real Mykonos experience, instead of the kind of minimal villa that could be anywhere. I recommend it without hesitation. Come live your own myth in Greece at Mykonos Galaxy.
