Villa Artemis

We arrived without a reservation at the last minute, and they had two rooms available for us to choose between. The room was nice and clean, with a cute balcony, and it was lovely to wake up to the coffee machine. The pool was a welcome surprise, too.

Good value for money, with a clean hotel and nice staff. Great location, and there are different seating spots where you can settle down with a good book. There's a rooftop and a small pool to cool off in 😊

This is our kind of hotel, and honestly, it’s perfect. The port is only a five-minute walk away. We knew from the website there was no breakfast, so that was totally fine 😂. It’s a small, family-run place and super clean, with two supermarkets just around the corner. The owner also pointed us toward some good places for morning coffee a couple of minutes away. Just a heads up, there are stairs, so it may not be ideal if you dislike them or have lots of luggage. I guess I need to get back into shape! The rooms are also on the small side, which some people should bear in mind.

The location is great, and the bathroom is a decent size by Greek hotel standards, with a proper shower. The cleaning was fair at best, though. I'm not sure whether the staff were being lazy or had cataracts. I gave it a 3 because the bed and pillows were better than most Greek accommodations.
