Archanes made the stay feel special, with its cobbled lanes, stone homes, colorful doors, bougainvillea, bakeries, and welcoming square where locals meet. The villa was a calm retreat after exploring the village. We spent four days there with my partner and found it spotless throughout, thoughtfully decorated, and built with obvious care. Its Cretan character sits comfortably alongside modern conveniences. Quiet mornings on the terrace with coffee and peaceful time indoors made this a memorable break. We’d be glad to come back.

The owners were friendly, and the town has plenty of shops and tavernas. Getting to the port or airport takes about 20 minutes. The new rooms have the equipment you need for a restful stay.

Michalis was welcoming, gave us useful recommendations, and was easy to reach whenever we had questions. We had a fantastic holiday in the villa, which has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It’s wonderfully quiet and suited us perfectly for relaxing. Highly recommended.

Be careful before booking. We didn’t get the villa we had reserved, and were told the one we booked had a water problem, even though we could see other people staying there. The booking photos looked nothing like the villa we were given. The villas are up on a hill, so walking to the restaurants or town square is impossible. The toilet is tiny, and the door won’t open.
