The hosts were so warm and helpful, giving us maps and ideas for things to do. When I mentioned my gluten intolerance, they even brought out a gluten-free cake at breakfast, such a kind gesture. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was very clean. The hotel sits right on the main historic square, with the old town an easy walk away. It’s in an old stone building, and the thick walls made our room very quiet. The age of the building does mean upkeep is probably a constant challenge, and you can see a little wear. We still had a wonderful stay.

The room was spacious and spotless, and the mattress was wonderfully comfortable. The reception staff were exceptionally polite and welcoming, too. The hotel is right in the heart of Areopolis’ traditional settlement, in a picturesque stone building. The room’s furniture and decor felt dated and worn, like they belonged to another era. It all seemed to need renovating, which made the price hard to justify.

The old town, with all its pretty cafes and restaurants, is just steps away. We also loved how friendly everyone on staff was, especially the woman at reception, who shared lots of useful ideas for trips around the area. Our room was spotless and bigger than most we stayed in during our trip. The hotel is tastefully decorated, the pool area is lovely, and breakfast had plenty of tasty choices. We had a really pleasant stay at Areos Polis Boutique Hotel and would happily recommend it.

A gorgeous family-run hotel, with the loveliest, most accommodating staff. We had a beautiful few days here and everything felt just right, from the incredibly comfortable beds and old-world decor to the modern amenities. Breakfast came with delicious homemade cakes, and the pool and garden were absolutely stunning. Highly recommend.

The reception team gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived. They were attentive and professional, and ready to help throughout our stay. The hotel has an elegant, charming feel, with a beautifully decorated lobby and tasteful artwork and furniture throughout. We had a delightful stay at Areos Polis Hotel.
