The hotel’s had the same family running it since 1970, when it was the first hotel in Aeropoli. The woman in charge was efficient and helpful, and her English was perfect. She got us taxi quotes, explained bus options for our onward trip, and booked a cab for us. Breakfast had the best coffee we had on our travels around the Mani, and the bathroom was high quality with the best shower. There’s also a handy drying rack on the verandah. A reliable 2-star in a great spot, a few minutes from the historic town one way and the bus station the other.

We were able to choose our room, and it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The welcome was friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. It’s a family-run place that’s well maintained, with convenient parking and a quiet location close to the town center. Breakfast was good and authentic.

Mrs. Helen, who runs the hotel, is a lovely and very friendly person. We have twins and asked for two free cots, which was another plus. We’ll definitely stay here again when we return to the area. The hotel is quite large, with a dedicated safe parking area, and it sits at the entrance to the historic town of Areopolis, so the location is excellent. It’s a nicely renovated place with spacious rooms, modern bathrooms, and a fireplace too, though we were there in September and didn’t need it.

The location was very good, close to the center, and the staff were very helpful. We stayed one night. The room was average, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, and the breakfast buffet felt very small for the hotel's standards.
