The breakfast was extremely poor, just some bread in various conditions, tomato, cucumber, and eggs. Most things cost extra, including the safe, air conditioning, and late checkout. The sunbeds around the pool were mostly “busy” all day because people left towels on them in the morning and went away. So they looked empty, but you couldn’t use them. If you parked in a way the owner or staff didn’t like, you might find an unfriendly “warning” note on your car, even if there was no sign against parking. In my case, they said the space was reserved for a staff member, but there was no marking or notice. I’m not a mind reader. There were serious privacy and noise problems with either side of the building. Near the smoking area, people walking past could look straight into your room, so forget opening the curtains. On the street side, there was constant traffic noise and no privacy. There were no mosquito nets, so an open window meant getting bitten all night. Wi-Fi didn’t work in the rooms at all. The bathroom had mold, and warm water came only at certain times with no fixed schedule, so you had to “try your luck.” After the room was “cleaned,” I came back and found the door left wide open, with all my belongings inside. The room opens toward a public street area, so anyone could have walked in. I still don’t know whether everything was there. The lack of basic security shocked me. When I asked to switch rooms, staff shouted that there were no rooms. Yet guests left and new ones arrived every day. They simply didn’t want to help. I’ve stayed in many 3-star hotels and didn’t expect luxury, but this was such an unfriendly, unsafe, unpleasant stay, especially for around €1,300 a week. I strongly recommend paying a little more for a normal hotel. I wish someone had warned me before I booked.
