Locanda

The lawns beside the beach and pools give the place a spacious, relaxed feel, and there was always a comfortable spot to sit. I especially liked that the sunbeds never felt crowded. Both pools were clean and inviting, and the seafront setting is stunning, with the small beach just below the lawns. It’s peaceful around the hotel while still only steps from the lively Argassi strip, so you can easily switch between a quiet day and nearby shops, bars, or restaurants. This was my second visit to Locanda Hotel, and I’d gladly return again. The rooms are bright, simple, fresh, and clean, with housekeeping keeping them in good shape. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant. Breakfast had a fair choice, enough to start the day, even if it wasn’t extensive. It’s also handy for seeing more of the island. Zante Town is a short ride away for an evening out or sightseeing, and Kalamaki is nearby for a change of scenery. For a couple, family, or solo trip, Locanda makes a convenient and comfortable base for a relaxing Zakynthos holiday.

The whole place felt calm and welcoming, and we had such a great time. One evening there was live music, dancing, laughter, and lots of fun. It was unforgettable, and we’re definitely coming back next year. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and just really friendly and fun. Our room was clean, the pool beautiful and well kept, and the food was tasty and plentiful.

We enjoyed every minute of the holiday, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The shops and bars were lovely too, always happy to help. We got a very warm welcome when we arrived, and our room had a fantastic sea view. One of our best holidays, and we’ll be back next year 😎

We had a lovely stay at the end of May 2025 and hope to come back next year. The location was great, our room was clean, and the pool areas had new sunbeds and umbrellas. The staff were friendly, especially Marlina, who made us feel very welcome 👍
