A five-minute walk gets you to the bars, restaurants, and shops, and the price is good. The rooms are basic but clean, with AC included, and the linen and towels were changed regularly. We had a good-sized balcony overlooking town. Staff were very friendly, though they only spoke Greek. A neighbour's ten-year-old daughter helped us communicate.

For a Zakynthos holiday, this is a handy base just steps from Zante town but away from the busy feel. The rooms are plain, with the essentials rather than anything fancy, enough for sleeping, breakfast, and a little downtime after a good shower. Everything was clean and tidy, and towels were changed every two days. The owners don't speak English or Italian, but their smiles and kindness made it easy to connect. There are big balconies and outdoor space for parking cars or scooters. Highly recommended.

The Wi-Fi is weak, and there are a few small shortcomings, but the owners' friendliness and helpfulness make up for them. They only speak Greek, by the way. Our room was spacious, clean, and simple, with a comfortable balcony. The lady made us delicious cookies to enjoy in the room. They're truly good people!
