Dinner felt like being welcomed into the family, with fresh, delicious food from that day’s kitchen. Afterward, the peace and quiet from the terrace was magical. We stayed one night as a family of four with our young children, aged 7 and 4, while visiting the nearby Mycenae site. Our room was simple and basic, fitting its setting as one of the last buildings before the ancient site. It was clean and quiet, and the air conditioning worked very well. The host and hostess were so kind and shared lots of information. You can tell they love working with people. We had a wonderful stay at La Petite Planete. Thank you!

We’ve stayed here more than 20 times, and our family always feels welcome. The Greek hospitality is great, the traditional food is exceptional, and it’s a perfect base for exploring the area. A special place in a wonderful part of the world.

The terrace has amazing views across the valley, and the hotel is perfectly placed for visiting the antiquities at Mycenae. It’s a quirky hotel in a good way, with charming, helpful staff and excellent food. There’s also a lovely pool at the back. We didn’t use it, but I imagine it’s bliss in summer.

On our road trip through the Peloponnese, this was easily our friendliest and most helpful stay, and the best experience we had. The staff were very accommodating, the views were great, and the pool was lovely. Breakfast was incredible, especially the homemade jams. We’d love to come back.

History comes through in every corner of this extraordinary hotel. The owners are very friendly and helpful, everything was perfectly clean, and the terrace is magnificent. You can have a home-cooked set dinner there for 26€ per person or a lovely varied buffet breakfast for 8€ per person. Rather than follow average modern standards, the place has tried to keep the spirit of the old.
