The owner’s family made us feel so welcome that after three days in mid-February, we didn’t want to leave. The room was spotless, with a kettle and tea-making supplies, working air conditioning, and effective heating for the evenings. We enjoyed fresh fruit, Jogurt, breads, cake, and sweet treats at breakfast in the morning sun. Do try the made-to-order omelette. Dinner by the fire, watching the sunset turn the bay golden, was a highlight. The service was excellent throughout, and the owners’ suggestions for evening meals, especially the fresh fish, were well worth following. Dinner for two with a starter, wine, and mains was €30-40, good value. There’s room to park at least 8 cars, with more parking on the adjacent street. The location makes it easy to drive to many parts of the region, though the roads and drivers take some getting used to. We’d certainly like to visit again.

Getting there by public transport is a little difficult, but that helps keep the area free from huge crowds of tourists. The location is simply amazing: you can eat right by the sea, spend the day at the beach, and wake up to a wonderful sunrise over the Aegean Sea outside your window. I stayed for a week during an Erasmus+ project with more than 50 other people, and we were very glad to be there. The people providing the service were all so hospitable and kind. I especially want to thank the owners, Mrs. Asimina and her husband, for helping me so much while I was sick and paying close attention to preparing special meals for me. I really hope to return to the Sunset Hotel one day. 5 ⭐

We stopped for lunch in April during the off-season and got a really warm welcome. The main dishes, stuffed tomatoes with rice and sardines, were even better than the fresh, good appetizers of Tzaziki, Saganaki, and fried zucchini. It felt like a Greek grandmother had cooked for us. They were also lovely with our little child.

The owners were so kind and friendly, and did everything they could to make our visit enjoyable. I had a wonderful time at Sunset hotel, enjoying the clean rooms, the food, and the sea view. The food was delicious, and I recommend the hotel.
