Camping Argostoli

We really wanted to stay at this campsite because the staff and location were superb. But the facilities felt abandoned, and there was no cleanliness at all. I hope they improve things so we can come back!

It felt like coming home, not like some commercial place. The staff were amazing 😻 and so welcoming. I loved spicy food, and the chef did their best to make a spicy meal for me. Try ordering seafood too, the chef is the best. The bathrooms and showers were clean, there was hot water, and electricity was available. When the airline lost our baggage, including our tent, they offered us one and didn't charge us for it. They were so sweet. I want to thank them for their hospitality. I recommend this place and will come back.

The best part was how close the campsite is to the beach, just a one-minute walk. Waking up to the waves and being able to wander down to the shore so quickly was fantastic. It's a handy and affordable place to camp near the beach in Argostoli, as long as you aren't expecting luxury. The facilities were functional and covered what I needed, but they're basic and could use some updating. I did appreciate having a choice of restrooms, including an old-style toilet for a more rustic experience and a modern one if you want more comfort. It's a solid option for convenience and price, and I had a pleasant stay.

We'd be very happy to come back. We had to cut our stay short by a day, even though we would have loved to stay longer, and the staff understood and refunded us for one night. It's a beautiful, very quiet campsite in a good spot near the capital. The staff welcomed us warmly and answered lots of our questions. The sanitary facilities were clean and modern.
