Ionian Vista Villas

From both sides of the accommodation there are lovely views across the water, and the rooms are cleaned daily with good-quality fixtures and fittings. The pool is usually very quiet, shared by only 3 or 4 apartments. It’s a bit of a walk to breakfast at the hotel in the square, though that’s no problem with a car. Walking back at night can feel like a trek, but there are always plenty of taxi's. The place is on the hill between Lassi and Argostoli, and I can thoroughly recommend it.

The villa and pool were amazing, with incredible views from both sides. The location is wonderful, there’s plenty of parking for a rental car or quad, and the cleaning lady was super friendly and flexible. I stayed from Sept 15 to Oct 12 2022 and will definitely come back.

You can manage here without a car, though having one gives you much more of the island to see. The apartments have furnished balconies on both sides, so there’s always somewhere to sit outside. They’re private but easy to get to, with friendly staff, a great pool, lovely apartments and excellent facilities, especially the kitchen. I loved staying here and would recommend it.

The villas are on a hill very close to the Argostoli center, with extraordinary views on both sides. Our apartment had been recently renovated and was clean. We found water, milk, bread and cheese in the fridge, plus coffee, tea and cereal in the cupboards, which was a thoughtful and much appreciated way to settle in before finding a supermarket. Breakfast was included at the Ionian Vista hotel on Argostoli’s main square. We didn’t use the villa pool because Kefallonia has amazing beaches, some just minutes away. It isn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended. We had a great week there in August of 2017.
