Liberatos Village Hotel

Our room had a fridge, handy for keeping drinks and other things cold. We only booked a room, so the simple, clean and tidy setup was what we expected. The hotel’s in a stunning location, though the hill is steep. You can walk down, and a taxi back costs 8 euros. The pool bar is pricier than Lassi, but the food is good and the staff are friendly.

A great, affordable place to stay if you want to keep money aside for exploring the island. The staff were helpful, parking was plentiful and free, and the rooms were very clean, with cleaning during the week. There’s air conditioning and a warm shower in the room, plus fantastic sunset views. I’d highly recommend it.

We paid only £50 a night and were pleasantly surprised. The one-bedroom apartment was spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed and air conditioning that worked well. In the mornings, chickens came onto the balcony and the kids loved feeding them. A few small things in our room were broken or missing: the fridge handle, the bedroom insect screen and the bathroom hand towel holder. None of that affected how much we enjoyed the stay. The pool area is beautiful, with really comfortable loungers. The water was a bit cold, but welcome in the heat. Drinks at the pool bar cost a lot more than elsewhere. The place is on a hill, which gives you stunning views. If you’re fit, it’s no problem, and at night it’s an easy walk down to the restaurants on Lassi’s main strip. Don’t let the negative reviews put you off.

My daughter and I had the best time here, and we’ll be back next year. The view was amazing, the food and drinks were lovely, and both the beds and pool were fantastic. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfy. The young man who cleans the rooms clearly loves his job and was so helpful. Thank you, Liberatos!
