Marina Studios II

We visited in peak season with my wife, our 2-year-old and our 7-month-old. On arrival, the host thoughtfully gave us Greek wine and bottles of water. They answered our questions throughout the stay and kept checking how we were doing. The rooms were very clean, and the host was superb. The location is fantastic: out of the bustle of Argostoli, but just a scenic 10-15 minute walk down the embankment to the center of town. There’s also a highly rated Greek restaurant just around the corner. From the port, a bus stop five minutes away connects to Lixouri, Lassi/Makris Gialos beach and the airport. There were a few small niggles, like occasional low water pressure, and the room could use renovation, but that’s part of the Greek living experience. I can’t rate the location and accommodation highly enough.

The hosts were helpful and welcoming, and the place was kept very clean, with the rooms tidied every day. The rooms are on the small side, especially the bathroom, but everything was neat. The location is really handy for getting around the whole island. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The apartment was spotless, nicely presented and had everything I needed. Natalie, the owner, was fantastic. I’d happily recommend it.

Natalie gave us such a warm welcome, and the harbour view was lovely. The rooms are cosy and the location is ideal. A few things could do with modernising, but it’s a great choice for a short stay.
