We stayed at Mary's apartments in summer 2015 and I looked them up again today. The Google Maps picture is just a graffiti wall, and the image labelled “view outside” is terrible, so I wanted to share what it’s really like. If you need a clean, affordable, fully equipped base in a central spot in Kefalonia, this is a great option. We loved being in the lively capital: the main square’s restaurants were only minutes away on foot, the lagoon and waterside bars were just one block away, and buses and taxis made it easy to explore the rest of the island. Mary and her family were really helpful with information and advice. We were glad we picked an apartment in town instead of a villa in the middle of nowhere. It meant we could do it all and experience real Greece.

Mary took a real interest in making sure I was comfortable, and the service was impeccable. The spaces were clean and fully equipped, and the central Argostoli location made it easy to get wherever I needed to go. I had a very good stay at Mary's Apartments in Kefalonia and highly recommend it for a comfortable, pleasant visit to the island.
