Metaxatos Apartments

Six of us came as three pairs and got three rooms, each with its own bedroom, small kitchen and bathroom. It was great value, and I was lucky to be visiting with friends who’ve been coming for years. We joined the Thursday BBQ and karaoke, which felt like a party with friends and family. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. Christina, Paul and the whole team were so thoughtful and welcoming. A friend was unwell, and they even picked up medicine for her. They were always around to help. I’m grateful we found this place, and we’ll be back.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday and I’ll definitely return. The rooms were spacious, with gorgeous views, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The place is brilliantly located, with everything within walking distance, and the amenities were great. One of the best stays I’ve had.

We were all 18 and travelling together without family for the first time. The hotel’s location worked well for us, with a beach about five minutes away and town around 15 minutes on foot, which was handy in the heat. Staff were lovely and helped with directions, taxis and travel suggestions. They even kept our suitcases while we waited for our flights. There were plenty of shaded places to relax, a lovely pool and amazing views. The facilities were great, the cleanliness was adequate, and the air conditioning was strong, which suited us perfectly. We loved Kefalonia, and this stay was a big part of that.

The place caught my eye while I was looking for a holiday, and the poolside drinks I’d pictured really did happen. It’s beautiful, with a lovely view and a location that couldn’t be better. There’s ice cream, pastries, drinks and food, and the quality is amazing. The room had comfy beds, a walk-in shower and a good kitchen. There’s also a football pitch and a private pool. A lovely holiday spot!
