It’s a fantastic spot, right opposite the Ferry Port. Shipping, food, coffee, nightlife, and cultural and historical places are all an easy walk away. This isn’t a traditional hotel, and every room has a balcony and kitchenette. There’s an elevator too. The family running the place couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we’ll be back.

The host was welcoming, kind, and reliable, and the area was quiet. We had a view of the sea or port, and a view to the back as well. The location is ideal for a holiday, close to the centre of Argostoli, the bus station just one minute away, and the ferry to Luxuri also a minute away. The rooms have air conditioning, a balcony, and a refrigerator. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed, including new dishes and an oven. There’s Wi-Fi, the bathroom was okay, and rooms are cleaned every three days. I recommend it 100%!

Our deluxe apartment was actually a small two-room place, very well maintained, and it had two balconies. Even so, I wouldn’t recommend Kefalonia. The island has lost its soul and doesn’t feel Greek anymore. There are lots of rather expensive restaurants and virtually nothing to see.

The room didn’t match the photos shown when I booked. It was tiny and old, and the very small bathroom smelled like sewage. The owners’ behavior was unacceptable. The elderly woman was unkempt and kept swearing. Everything else was dirty too, and the place was far from what I’d expect from this kind of accommodation. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The hosts were kind, and the location was excellent for budget accommodation. Cleanliness let the place down, particularly in the bathroom.
