A delicious breakfast and a very pretty village, close to natural springs and beaches, made this a lovely stay. There are plenty of archaeological sites nearby and good walks too. Our suite was spacious, in a beautiful old building, with a quiet terrace overlooking lemon and orange trees. It has a rustic feel but is well equipped.

The little town has a good coffee bar, a grocery store and a few restaurants, with beautiful mountains nearby and lots of scenic drives around the area. Arcus Suites itself was peaceful and relaxing. The owners were welcoming and kind, and we often had the lovely pool and garden to ourselves. Our room was clean and nice, and we had a wonderful stay.

Yiannis was always around with local tips, including ways to avoid touristy spots and get a feel for the real Crete. Breakfast was homemade, delicious and brought to our suite every day. The house is a beautiful historic place, renovated with care, and the rooms are bright, roomy and comfortable. It’s in a quiet village surrounded by nature, with a fantastic garden and a lovely pool at its center. One of my best stays in recent years. Thank you!

Arcus is a lovely choice for a couple of romantic days. The village itself isn’t that exciting, but the suite was wonderful. We had a huge bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and a circular whirlpool bath, plus a beautifully designed living area with a massive flat-screen TV, surround sound and Bluetooth. The kitchen and bathroom were very nice too. Outside, the garden was fab, with a lovely little pool area.

The town is quaint, with some nice local restaurants and great historical gems. We felt welcome and special at Arcus Suites, thanks to the kind, accommodating management. It was the perfect place for our honeymoon.
