Daniela and Marinos made us feel so welcome, with warmth and friendliness that showed real hospitality. The whole Horizon team looked after us wonderfully, and we can't thank them enough. We were so impressed that we'd already decided to return in 2026 while we were still there. The Horizon Hotel & Restaurant is ideally placed for bars and restaurants, though it has a restaurant of its own. The food there was so good it would be Michelin star quality back home. Both of our superior rooms had sea views and were just right. The shower was lovely, though I kept in mind the need to save water. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Thank you, Daniela, Marinos, and the entire team for making the holiday so special.

We love Arillas and its small-village feel, and to us Hotel Horizon is the jewel of the local hotels. The beach is just a few steps away, with the hotel's own beds. The sand is clean, and the sea is lovely, shallow, and safe. The hotel has a quiet, relaxing pool with plenty of loungers, and a rule allowing only one family booking at a time. This was our second stay, and we've also eaten here when we couldn't stay as guests. The owners and staff are wonderful and welcoming, and nothing seems too much trouble. Everywhere is spotless, the rooms have lovely views, and the meals and five-star breakfast come with wonderful wines. I've celebrated my birthday here twice, including a big one this year. Both times, the kitchen staff made the most wonderful birthday cake I've ever eaten. Daniela and Morinio always make us feel cared for and welcome. The whole atmosphere is relaxed. The only hard part is having to leave this little piece of heaven.

We came back for coffee after enjoying lunch with a great view over Arillas and the beach. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was good, and they gave us complimentary orange cake with the coffees.

The hotel is literally on the beach, and the staff are wonderful, warm, and engaging. Everything looks modern and clean, almost as if it opened last year. I believe it first opened in 2000 or 2002. The shower is amazing too. I loved the place so much that we're seriously considering coming back sooner than planned.

This is our third stay, and the standards remain high in every area. Even at the height of the season it's quiet and relaxed. It feels more upscale than similar places nearby, though those are excellent too. The private pool is for guests only, so it stays peaceful and reserved. The food menu is compact, nicely presented, and high quality. Breakfast is a lovely continental spread with delicious homemade items every day and fresh local produce. The rooms are fresh and practical, with sea-view balconies and seating. Superior rooms also have a seating area, and the shower is strong. The location is hard to beat, just 50yds from the beach. Guests have their own parasols and sunbeds, and the beach has glorious clean sand and clear, calm water with safe, flat swimming offshore. What really makes the place is the outstanding service from the owners and staff. Many UK businesses could learn from their loyalty and attitude toward customers.
