The beach is lovely, and we found the food amazing at all the bars and restaurants nearby. It's a short walk into the resort, though the way back has a bit of a slope. Back at the studios, everything was spacious, spotless and well equipped, and there are lots of clean loungers around the pool. The staff are lovely and friendly, the food is great, and Sunday curry night is a must. We enjoyed it so much we've booked another stay for next year. It's a lovely choice if you're after a quiet, peaceful holiday.

If you feel like staying in for the evening, the food at Mathraki is excellent, and the poolside bar makes a great spot for dinner and drinks. The staff are also great at sorting things out and are happy to help with anything. The accommodation is first class, in a peaceful setting, yet Arillas centre is only a five minute walk away. Still perfect.

The apartments feel peaceful, tucked away from the main road and not open to children. I loved the spotless pool, and the sea view from the balcony was lovely. The studios are thoughtfully laid out, with new furniture, strong air conditioning, reliable Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a new, practical bathroom and kitchen. There's a bar by the pool, plus a bakery just around the corner and an organic bar and supermarket opposite the beach. Arillas isn't the island's most scenic spot, but it has a distinctive artsy feel. There are plenty of good fish tavernas, and you can take a bus to Corfu town. Porto Timoni is stunning and within walking distance.

We came back this year to find the rooms completely transformed, modern and beautiful, after they felt a bit dated on our first visit. The bathrooms haven't been renovated, but the rooms still have everything you need. It's an adults-only place where you can properly relax, with plenty of sun loungers at any time of day. The freshly cooked food is excellent, everything across the complex is spotless, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We love this place and can't recommend it enough.

Arillas beach is only about 5-6 minutes away, and there's a bakery close by too. Lots of restaurants around, plus an amazing pool.
