The staff were very friendly, the rooms were extremely clean, and the AC worked well. They were simple Greek-style rooms with hard beds. We felt we'd paid too much for the current standard. There were about 40 rooms, more than we expected, but in mid-September most were empty and the whole place felt like it was closing for the season. The pool was big, with plenty of sunbeds, though it would have been nice if they were straightened at night and the bird mess wiped from the ones under the trees. Neither the pool bar nor the rooftop bar was open. We only saw the odd person eating alone in the restaurant. We were told to book dinner a day ahead, but no one offered it during our week there. Breakfast was very poor quality, and it seemed management deliberately put less food out to limit how much people took. The village is a ten-minute walk, downhill along the road and then up some steps, and has lots of great restaurants. There's a pleasant beach about 15 minutes away on foot, with a great taverna. To get anywhere else on the island you need a car, since the public buses are very irregular, sometimes just one bus a week to each place at odd times.

The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the accommodation was clean and cozy. It was a wonderful stay in Arkasa, Karpathos, with the sea and village center both nearby. Definitely recommended!

The island is beautiful and deserves a better place to stay. This hotel needs renovation and general upkeep. The food was acceptable, but the drinks weren't good, and many guests brought their own bottled water and soft drinks to meals. The mattresses were very hard, with no option to change them, and the beds had no nets. The curtains let in the first light of dawn. There were some plumbing problems in the bathroom, and breakfast was nearly gone by 9 am. The pool bar had very limited choices.

Bluu Bahari is a lovely place in Karpathos, with a large, clean pool and a room with a beautiful sea view. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The Italian chef cooks really well, and the rooftop has an amazing sunset view. It works well for couples, families, or friends, and the quality for the price is very good.

We had a beautiful stay in august 2016. The hotel is in a very typical building, and the staff are friendly, though you need to speak English. The pool is very comfortable, and the all-inclusive services are among the best in the area. One distinctive touch is that you can find some typical north European foods. The beach is 1.2km away and within walking distance.
