We'd happily book this house again. It's a lovely old place with a real historic feel, without needless extras, and it worked brilliantly for us and the children. The three bedrooms are separate, the layout is great, and the courtyard pool was clean and enjoyable. The house and the friendly staff, owner included, were very clean and welcoming. Rethymno is about 18 minutes away, while the village has a supermarket, bakery, tavernas, and cafes. There's plenty of parking, friendly neighbors, and a grill outside the front. We definitely recommend it.

The few dated furnishings and appliances could use an update, and some break easily. Still, we came away with wonderful holiday memories. Dimitri and Maria were fantastic, and having housekeeping every three days felt like exceptional service. The villa is peaceful and away from the center. The courtyard pool was ideal for family time, and everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. A truly lovely stay.
