The children had a great time exploring the spacious, stylish villa, chasing the many cats, and watching the owls. We spent three nights at Art Villa in April and really enjoyed it. It's beautifully and unusually designed, with a lovely view to the south, especially from the bedroom. There are plenty of nearby attractions, so it makes a good base for seeing Western Crete while staying away from the tourist crowds.

A lovely spot for family or friends, with great views and a wonderful feel. The house blends traditional and modern touches, and Rethymno center is only about 15 minutes away.
