Eforasis Villas , an intriguing hideaway, by ThinkVilla

Every day brought another stunning sunset and mountain view, and we usually had a nice breeze. We spent 10 incredible days at Eforasis Villa III. The place is beautiful, very comfortable and spotless, with lovely beds, excellent showers and modern fittings. The infinity pool was perfect for cooling off, and there are several lovely places to sit outside. Georgia welcomed us warmly and was so generous and kind the whole time. There was tea, coffee, snacks, orange juice, wine, raki and olive oil from Georgia’s own olive trees waiting for us. She and her team cleaned the villa and changed the towels and linens twice, and Georgia also brought fresh figs and grapes from the grounds. A bakery and two well stocked mini supermarkets are just down the hill, and Rethymno town is a 20 minute drive. The hill up to the villa is steep and bumpy, so a substantial car is advised. A perfect holiday, 10/10.

Getting here could be tricky without a car, but once we arrived it felt like a little world of our own, with no disturbance from outside. The homeowner's hospitality was wonderful too, and we were welcomed with fruit, olive oil and wine. The villa was clean and well looked after.

It's a quiet, fairly secluded spot that was great for relaxing. The hostess is really lovely and makes sure everything is going well.

After two stays, we've been thrilled both times. Georgia and her family are warm, attentive hosts, and the villa is spotless, well equipped and has a fantastic view. The peace and privacy make it easy to unwind, though lovely beaches and livelier places are still a short distance away. There's beautiful nature all around and the sunsets are breathtaking. We couldn't have asked for more and had our best holidays here.
