Such a warm host in Stefanos, and the place itself is really peaceful. People in the nearby village are friendly too.

Everything felt old and badly maintained, and the bed hadn't been made properly, with only a tiny sheet. There were insects, lizards and mosquitoes everywhere inside. We arrived after dark and were told the keys would be on the door, but they were hard to find. We really didn't enjoy the apartment. Very disappointing.

I only stayed two nights, and my friend was hosting me, but the place was charming and very handy for getting to the beach. Stefanos suggested some local taverns, where I got to try tasty, authentic local food. The apartment was immaculate, and the hosts were kind and always available. And I have to mention the cats, especially the sweet Cleopatra. I fell completely in love with her and left a piece of my heart there. I'd highly recommend this place for an unforgettable holiday in Crete.

A cozy, clean and accessible place at a great price. Stefanos is great, and you're just a minute from Armenoi tavernas and coffee place. If you're after a decent place for a good price, this is it.
