Piccadilly House

The reception staff and cleaners were kind and welcoming, but the boss lady was rude and, to me, very unprofessional. The building has problems too: the front doors bang loudly, and you can hear people outside talking and walking past through the thin windows. There’s no insulation. It also doesn’t feel like good value for money. Arta is priced higher than Ioannina, and it feels like they take advantage of people who need somewhere to stay in town because this is the only option downtown. The boss lady’s attitude really put me off, and it makes me wonder how she treats her staff.

Free hotel parking is a big plus, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel is right in the city center, so everything is walkable. Staff were friendly and professional, and the spacious rooms have good views of either the city or the small ancient theater. Breakfast choices are limited, but each of the four menus comes with lots of delicious options. My only suggestion is about the bathroom door: it opens in a way that makes it awkward to step out onto the bath mat.

The location was very convenient, and we were quite happy with our one-night stay. The room was excellent, spacious, and very well equipped, with a renovation done to a high standard in both materials and finish. The only thing that could be improved is the parking lot, which can get a bit tight when the hotel is full.

We were only there for one night, but it was a great experience. The rooms are big, very clean, nicely decorated, and have all the amenities, while the service was excellent. The location is the best, too. In my view, this is the best Arta has to offer, and I strongly recommend it.
