Airport Cottage House

We stayed one night at Airport Cottage House before an early flight, and Chrisa made the whole visit feel easy from the moment I booked. She contacted me right away and offered an airport shuttle for an extra fee, then met us at the airport herself. At the cottage, she greeted us with homemade Greek salad. The fridge was stocked with champagne, cold beers, milk, eggs, and other drinks, and we were especially happy to have the Nespresso machine. The cottage was beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with a spa-like bathroom, a living room TV with all channels, and a thoughtful basket in the bedroom with face masks, aromatherapy candles, and other little touches. It was the most welcoming, well-equipped place we've stayed in on our travels. Chrisa was so warm and affectionate that it felt like arriving at a relative's home, with an aunt waiting for us. She even took us to a local seaside restaurant for dinner, and afterward her husband picked us up and showed us around the charming nearby town. The neighborhood is simple and authentically local, safe and quiet, and only a short walk from the beach. A real gem for staying near the airport. We couldn't have asked for a better visit.

We booked the airport cottage on the day we needed it, after a last-minute change to our travel plans, and Chrisa couldn't have been more accommodating. She picked us up at midnight and drove us to the cottage. It's spacious, clean, in a beautiful spot, and has everything you could need. Chrisa had made homemade food and left drinks for us, and she was so sweet that we felt right at home. The bed was really comfortable, and the shower got hot quickly. For a last-minute choice, it was one of the best places we stayed during our honeymoon. I wish we'd had more nights to enjoy it. Chrisa even got up early to take us to the airport at 5 a.m. We're so grateful and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Athens or wanting to be near the airport.

The home in Artemida was lovely, and Chrisa made getting there easy. For a small fee she can pick you up from or take you to the airport, about a 20-minute drive away, and gives you a tour along the way. The house has one separate bedroom and a living room with two sofa beds. Everything was super clean, the beds were comfortable, and all the details felt carefully thought out. There's a private courtyard with plenty of seating. Chrisa had lots of appreciated extras, from a coffee pot and K-cups to snacks, soap, beer, milk, and wine. We were exhausted from traveling, so she made us a delicious dinner. We also walked to the beach, a small private cove. She provides beach towels and chairs if you want them, plus an outdoor shower for when you get back. The home is beautifully decorated. We stayed just one night between flying into Athens and an early morning departure, but I'd happily stay much longer and will absolutely return to Greece.

The cottage is cute, clean, and close to the airport. Xrisa is a very sweet, welcoming host who greeted us with a hot meal and had some things waiting in the fridge too.
