Platanidia Apartment Pelion

We came back for a second visit, and I'm sure it won't be our last. You can walk straight from the property onto the beach through the gate, then swim without having to deal with beach umbrellas, chairs, or loungers. The carefully trimmed lawn gives you great shade, with plenty of loungers, plus a hammock and swing. There's also a shaded parking spot, and plenty of parking within the property. The BBQ area has a table and chairs and all the tools and comfort you'd need to cook outside. The owner has provided inflatable beach toys for both children and adults. Inside, the house is tastefully furnished and practical. There are three balconies with sea views, while the kitchen looks toward both the mountains and the sea. It has a good range of quality appliances. I especially liked the vintage amplifier with analogue dials in the living room, paired with good speakers, a CD player, and a radio tuner. There were plenty of towels, bed linen, and consumables, too. The lady of the house left us homemade marmalade and other sweets, which we really enjoyed. There's a lot to say about the house, and the area around it is worth exploring as well. Historical sites, museums, and the legends known around the world are nearby. Along the coast there are lovely seafood restaurants, while a little farther up in the Pelion mountain you can find a different, mountain-style cuisine.
