Spyrou Studios

Tanasis is a very nice owner, and we loved our stay enough to add three extra nights. The simple apartment is in a perfect spot, just 50 steps from the beach, and it has all the dishes and cooking appliances you need. It could use more attention to basic supplies like salt, sugar, and toilet paper.

Thanasis was a brilliant host, warm and helpful, and ready to support us when we needed it. We loved every moment from the time we arrived. The sea view and hospitality were great, and it’s an excellent base for exploring Pelion. Apartment No.1 on the ground floor of Spyrou Studios in Platanidia was remarkably clean, beautifully designed, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It’s literally a one-minute walk to the main square, the buses to Volos, and a family-friendly local beach. Our experience went beyond expectations. Highly recommended!

We came as a group with several children, and the apartments were very family friendly. The host was warm and welcoming, and the location made a great base for exploring the beautiful area around Volos. We could swim several times a day, with the water only seconds from the apartments. Everything was spotless and cleaned regularly. I hope to return, and highly recommend it.

The landlord was a great host, answering our questions about getting to Volos and anything else we needed. His wife was so sweet and made a fantastic apple dessert. My brother rented one of the rooms while we were there. It was updated, comfortable, very clean, and had a great view. He had a rental car, and there was always parking right outside. We stayed for four weeks in July and absolutely loved it. The beach was right in front of our apartment and felt very safe for our two young kids. The local bus to Volos and some other nearby towns stopped in the parking lot in front of the apartment every hour. If we go back to Platanidia, we’ll stay here again.
