The location worked so well for us, close to attractions and other villages, and about 35 minutes or so from Ioannina. We visited in a quiet season, so the village was peaceful and we had no noise trouble at all. It's lovely for an evening walk. Virginia's also has a restaurant. We didn't try anything there except breakfast, but when we returned from visiting the villages, it was open and had several customers enjoying themselves, so I'm sure the food was good too. Virginia and her husband were warm hosts and always happy to share tourist tips or ask how our day had gone. We booked for three people for three nights, breakfast included, and it was very affordable. Breakfast was lovely, with orange juice, fruit, Greek yogurt, honey, granola, bread, jam, cheese, ham, tiropita, and other things. The tiropita was delicious, and they prepared whichever coffee you wanted. Our room was tidy and very clean, with room service every day. It was warm and cozy, though not very big, and that wasn't a problem for us. The area felt safe. There was also a nice shared space above our room where people could hang out. I'm really grateful for the hospitality and would recommend staying here if you're in the area.

We felt at home from the moment we arrived at Virgina in Asprangeloi. The whole family running the guesthouse, from grandparents to parents and sons, welcomed us with real warmth. Nothing felt staged; it all came from the heart. The food was easily the best we had on our trip through Greece, and every meal felt lovingly homemade and rooted in tradition. The rooms are charming, cozy, and beautifully decorated, and you feel at home straight away. With nature all around, it's a peaceful place to relax and recharge, especially if you love nature and authenticity. I can't recommend it enough, and I'm sure I'll come back one day. A real hidden gem in Zagori!

We heard about this restaurant while staying in Ioannina and were glad we went. The setting in a Greek village is beautiful, and both the food and service were excellent. The chicken and egg plant cooked in the oven was a wonderful dish, I could have eaten it twice. Definitely worth the detour if you're in the area.
