Gatos Village Studios & Apartments

The location kept us a little away from the main crowds, which was good, but the sea was far. The rest of the stay left us deeply disappointed, and I'm sharing what happened so others don't have the same experience. We booked through an agency, and the photos they showed us bore little resemblance to the apartment we got. It had been described as renovated, though only a few things looked newer. Dust was left under the bed, in the corners, and on the furniture, with cobwebs everywhere. The bathroom was like a public toilet. After we complained, they cleaned the apartment again the next day, but it still wasn't up to standard, with mold, old furnishings, and built-up dirt. There was no cleaning during the stay. On day five, they left clean sheets on the bed but didn't change them. We had no cleaning supplies, so we couldn't clean anything ourselves either. The walls were thin and there was practically no soundproofing. We heard the neighbors every day, even quiet conversations, and couldn't rest as we'd hoped. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, with a thin, poor-quality mattress that you sank into, and the pillows were uncomfortable too. The internet was so bad that messages barely went through, and sending a photo only worked if we were lucky. Air conditioning was included in the price, but it would only work with someone inside the apartment and the terrace door closed in a certain position.
