Villa Bambas

The location is handy, with a few minutes down the stairs to the sea and tavernas, and boat rental about 10min away. You can also reach Astrakeri beach with just a few minutes' walk. There’s no supermarket close enough to get to on foot, though. The beach has sea grass and isn’t very clean, but it’s sandy, very warm and shallow, so it’s great for kids. The place itself is quiet, without many tourists. Alex was a perfect host, helpful, friendly and kind with the kids, and gave us advice about tavernas, tours and other things. The rooms are clean and have small kitchens. The view of the sea and Albanian mountains is perfect, and there’s a rooftop terrace. You can use the sun umbrellas too, along with some sand toys left by previous guests. The washing machine costs extra. Recommend it :)

You can look straight out at the sea from the balcony, and the villa is in Astrakeri village, very close to the beach. Alex, the host, was helpful and gave us detailed information about everything we needed. People in both Astrakeri and Karousades were kind, nice and friendly. If you're planning a holiday on Corfu island, this villa is definitely a good option.

Astrakeri is a peaceful little village, a good place to rest, while the bigger towns are still close if you want more action. After a day out, coming back to Villa Bambas felt like a perfect escape. The apartment was exceptionally clean and very nice, with plenty of cozy places to relax around the resort. The rooftop terrace has a beautiful view, and the backyard is ideal for chilling out. Villa Bambas in Astrakeri was a perfect place to stay!
