Akti Rooms

The location was excellent.

We stayed from 31/7 to 3/8 in the rooms presented as "Akti Rooms," and the rating options wouldn't let me give zero. The condition and service were awful throughout. Finding the reception was impossible at first because there were no signs. On our last day, staff told us there was nobody in charge to speak with and nobody would come. The shared hallway had no working light, so with no daylight we used our phones to unlock the door. The bathroom was a mess. There was barely any water pressure, hot water was rare, and I had to fill bottles just to take a full shower. The shower drain was blocked, leaving me standing in pooled water. The shower's battery was broken, and the telephone was dismantled. There was also some white liquid in the glass by the sink from a previous use. I don't want to guess what it was. The towels weren't replaced daily. The bed squeaked with even a small movement, and the mattress springs dug into my back. One pillow was so inflated and hard that normal sleep was out of the question. The balcony had a great view, but it was filthy, with black marks on the wall and a dirty floor. When we arrived, there was an empty plastic water bottle under the bed, and it was probably still there when we left. The cleaning service never found it. I deliberately left rubbish on the floor, and it stayed there for a day. That doesn't match the cleaning service you advertise. This is the worst business I've ever dealt with. It's unacceptable to let people stay in a place like this.

The view is wonderful, but that alone doesn't make for a decent stay. For the nightly price, I expected something completely different. The place was dirty and had serious shortcomings. Simply unacceptable, with not even the bare minimum.

The restaurant has very good food, and the tables have a beautiful view.
