Pylaia Boutique Hotel & Spa

The hotel dining room opens up indoors and outdoors, with incredible island views and a relaxed feel. We loved the delicious food and the generous free breakfast, which was more than we could finish. By the pool, the shaded loungers were a great place to unwind, and the pool itself was spotless. Our bags were brought to the room, and the air conditioner worked well, switching on automatically when we closed the doors. The room also had espresso, cable TV, shampoo, and the essentials. The views were gorgeous, but what stood out most was the kindest hotel staff we’ve ever met. Constantine, Marietta, and the rest of the staff were thoughtful, attentive, and helpful from the moment we were greeted at the airport through our whole stay. We’d go back tomorrow!

The people here made the stay. I’ve never met staff so kind, caring, and efficient. Marietta and Assimina at the front desk worked incredibly hard and still stayed cheerful, and they really cared about making guests feel welcome and happy. Thank you, girls, you were amazing. I hope to return and see you again, and I can confidently recommend Pylaia to my friends knowing you’ll be there to make their stay enjoyable. The hotel itself is lovely too. The pool was great, everything was tidy and clean, and the breakfast area had amazing views. The beds surprised me, the mattress and pillows were such high quality and incredibly comfortable. It was amazing value for money.

We were disappointed with Pylaia Boutique Hotel. It seemed dated, the cleanliness wasn’t up to par, service lacked professionalism, and the welcome ceremony was confusing. The room also fell short of what we expected from a 'boutique' hotel. We chose not to stay. They promised to call about a refund, but no call came. When we tried to contact the hotel afterward, we were sent back to Booking.com. We were still charged part of the original fee and had problems with double charges on our card. Our vacation improved a lot after we moved to another hotel. The positive reviews didn’t match our experience, so I’d suggest looking at negative reviews too for a fuller picture. I’d be cautious about considering Pylaia Boutique Hotel.

Marietta was so joyful and spent two days trying to get us upgraded to a sea view room, which was amazing. The staff and hotel were fantastic, and the breakfast was to die for, with fresh baked pizzas, pancakes, and waffles. It’s only a five-minute walk to the chora. Marietta deserves a raise all on her own.
