Acropolis Magenta

The rooftop terrace was a highlight, with a great view of the Acropolis. Our modern, sleek room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. My partner and I had a wonderful week there in February 2026. The hotel is central, about 15 minutes from the Acropolis and Plaka neighborhoods, and close to a metro stop. The staff were so kind, welcoming and hilarious. They had great quips for us when we returned at all hours of the morning. 10/10, and I’d absolutely stay again on my next Athens visit.

The location in Athens was perfect, near the metro and city bus tour stops, and the staff made us feel welcome. They’ll store your luggage, and there’s a nice check-in area with tables, chairs and sofas where you can wait. The room had a sitting area with a table and two chairs, a small fridge, coffee maker and hot pot for tea. They also provided assorted coffees and teas, two bottles of water and a free bottle of dry wine. The bed had comfy, luxurious linens, the shower was great, and the wifi worked well.

The staff were awesome, and the rooftop lounge alone is worth the price for its spectacular night views of the Acropolis. The location is great, close to the Acropolis and everything else you’d want nearby. Rooms are on the small side, but perfectly adequate and equipped with what you might need.

The rooftop view of the Acropolis was fantastic, and the location couldn’t be better. The room was clean and had a nice, modern design. Special thanks to Mr Paul for being so kind and helpful with whatever I needed. Highly recommended.
