Marina was lovely to deal with. She got in touch before we arrived and kept us updated on everything. The apartment had everything we needed and was close to the city centre. We had a wonderful two-day stay in Athens and would highly recommend it.

We had a minor Wi-Fi issue, but it was fixed quickly the next morning, and check-in was easy. The host was very communicative and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the place is in a convenient, safe area. From the living room balcony you can catch a glimpse of the Acropolis. Just be careful with the hot water, it gets hot very quickly, so adjust the temperature slowly.

Our booking at Athens Heartbeat for 05.12.25 couldn’t be refunded, but Greek farmers’ blockades meant we couldn’t even get into Greece, let alone make it to Athens. When we tried to talk it through, Athens Heartbeat wouldn’t discuss the situation at all, even though it wasn’t our fault. Be careful booking here if you need any flexibility. They’re very rigid.

The hosts were easy to reach and communication went smoothly. The apartment was roomy and tidy, with comfortable beds and pillows. It’s on the fourth floor, though there’s a lift. For getting around, the location worked really well: a main train station is nearby for the airport and travel around Athens, and restaurants and attractions, including the Acropolis entrance, are within walking distance.

The apartment was spotless and had all the things my family and I needed. We also found its location very convenient. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and communicating with them was easy. I’d definitely recommend contacting Athens For Heartbeat if you’re heading to Athens.
