The Koukaki Residence

We were happy with our stay, and having coffee in the courtyard was a real pleasure. There’s no reception, but they give you very good information and we had no problems. The hotel and rooms were nice and clean. A street market set up on the road outside on Friday while we were there. I’m not sure if it happens on other days, and the noise of the stalls being set up might wake you early on a Friday.

It felt like a home away from home, on a quiet street in a safe, clean, friendly neighborhood. We were within walking distance of major tourist areas, but far enough from the crowds when we wanted a break. Our group of nine was made up of three siblings and their families, arriving on different dates, and the property was flexible about arrival and departure times. I booked three of the charming, cozy apartments, which worked out perfectly. They also arranged rides from the airport and to the port. We spent a few days here before our cruise, were completely satisfied, and would book again when we return.

Konstantinos is a wonderful Greek host, always willing to help. The traditional decor in the rooms is beautiful, and the location is so convenient, with the Acropolis Museum, metro, bus stops, and a mini market all very close by. Highly recommend. Thank you!

I stayed in the Blue Lilly room in Oct 2023 and loved every minute of it. The property is beautiful and well kept, and there are restaurants and food all around. Mr K was a fabulous host. I miss my stay already!
