The apartment was spotless and had good equipment, plus we appreciated the extras. But next door's construction caused awful noise, shaking, and disruption for our entire stay. At 7.30 am on the first morning, a pneumatic drill woke us up with nonstop pounding that sounded like it was right on the other side of the bedroom wall. It only got worse, with heavy banging that shook the apartment and workmen shouting to each other. The building work seemed to be at the demolition stage.

The hosts made us feel welcome, and the beds were comfortable, especially the pillows. WiFi was good too. The apartment was nicely decorated, clean, and spacious, with an excellent location on a quiet street. We could walk to the main sights and to lively restaurant and shopping areas.

We had a blissful stay. The owner was kind and welcoming, and there were nice restaurants and supermarkets very close by. The apartment had a big living room, lovely decor, and everything we needed. I especially liked the kitchen lighting.

The owner was helpful, and the apartment was wonderful. It's near the Acropolis and central Athens.
