Eternity Athens Hotel

The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, and breakfast was fresh and satisfying with excellent coffee. I had a comfortable, pleasant stay at Eternity Hotel in Athens. Its location is perfect for exploring, with the main attractions all within walking distance.

For what the listing shows as a 4 or 5 star hotel, the experience was disappointing. There's barely a lobby, no turn-down service or bellman to bring our bags to the room, and no extra blanket or mint on the pillow, if you're expecting that sort of thing. They charged us an extra $50 for the second person on the reservation, taking the room to almost $400 for the night, even though we showed them online that the price was the same for two people. When we raised our issues, they offered us mimosas as compensation. We weren't pleased with the stay, and anyone expecting 4-5 stars will be sadly disappointed.

A perfect place to explore ancient Athens, and great for kids, with an amazing playroom right by a conference room. Just watch the stairs with your kids and don't let them use them unattended.

What stayed with me most was how genuinely welcome and looked after I felt. That’s the sort of five-star care I value, beyond a lovely building and room. The bathroom was a treat too, with great cosmetics and a little spa-like feel that helped me unwind. I spent two days at Eternity Athens recently. It’s a new hotel and still finding its feet, but it already feels full of promise. The location is ideal for historic sights and popular places, and the view is amazing. The staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.
